Multi-Level Marketing - Understanding The Facts
The Multi-Level-Marketing industry can be a very dirty one. For many of the companies, the amount of money you make depends soley on the number of people you sign up. For many greedy MLM industry insiders the downline usually takes priority over the products. If you've never been told before, then please consider this blog entry your first lesson.
In order to be successful in the multi-level marketing (MLM) industry you must first understand the business and how it works. The biggest mistake that people make is jumping head first into the business after being suckered in by someone who has made promises of some great windfall of cash. This is the part that bugs the crap out of me the most. Many MLM marketers ever give upfront info about what it is you are signing up for and what product they are selling. They will send emails upon emails giving explanation as to why their program is so great but will never give direct details as to what the program is about. This is information that should be given to you up front before you hop on any phone call, participate in any webinar, or invest any of your hard earned cash. It really sucks that after all of these years many MLM companies continue to use such tactics but it is also an indicator of why so many people fail at it. There is such a large failure rate with the multi-level marketing business than any other industry and it is due in large part to the fact that not all people are out there looking to start a business. Most of the people who go into this business do so because they are looking for an answer to their financial problems. Yes, multi-level marketing programs are designed to help people make money by using and selling the products they love, but if the person doesn't have any clear understanding of how the business works, doesn't understand what they are selling, and have no real interest in the multi-level marketing business then why should they be expected to succeed at it?
The one thing that should be understood about multi-level marketing is that the nucleus of the business is the products that are being sold. One of the most important facts that you must understand is that it is much more important to find a business that allows you to focus more on the products and services that the organization provides more than the down line requirement of promoting the opportunity. It's not about just making money, it's about working for an organization that you trust and believe in. When you like love what you do for a living, it gives you the motivation to keep at it.
When approaching an multi-level marketing company, do not fall for the sales scheme. Make sure to do your proper research on the company to find out how it's doing in the current market. Many companies and their websites deal with very outdated information. Some of the products are also outdated. Try to meet or discuss the company's initiative with a current team member. Many multi-level marketing companies require a fee for start-up kits, training sessions, tools and products. Before you invest be sure to do your homework and proceed with caution. Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question. Ask! If they fail to provide sufficient answers then move on to the next company. Do not give them a dime.
Remember whether working offline or online, the powerful "mojo" is learning the stuff that really works and weeding out what doesn't. Apply it accordingly.

Blogging Isn't For Everyone
It's very easy to start a blog or a website. Blogs have become the new nickname for the word opinion. They are easily formed, but no one really knows how to deliver it well. Everyone wants to blog, and there's nothing wrong with that, however, it's another story to actually like blogging and become successful at it. The path to success with blogging is a very challenging one, however, nothing is more rewarding than being able to write about the things you love to do and have lots of people around the world read it. I am a firm believer that passion is what drives a person to not only be good at what they do, but to work hard at it. It is the ultimate ingredient needed for success. Far often too many people believe that they can start a blog today, be controversial, and then quit their day jobs tomorrow. It's wrong to look at blogging as a solution to your financial problems. Not only is this the wrong kind of attitude to have, it is also not the right path for everybody. I cannot tell you the number of people who have contacted me asking for assistance in designing or setting up their blogs and websites, only for me to check in on them six months later and see that they're blogs are sitting idle.
To be successful at blogging you should at least possess a passion for writing. One of the most common mistakes that bloggers make is pretending to be something that they are not. They go above and beyond to quickly research specific topics and them give themselves a crash course on the niche so that they can fool their readers into believing that they have knowledge or expertise in a particular field. They pretend to like it. There are other people who blog because they see there are thousands of other people out there blogging about 'something' so they feel that they should be blogging about 'something' too. There is nothing wrong with doing either of those things, however, it's important to understand that in using these two methods as your biggest motivators for blogging, you increase the chances for your blog to fail. The idea that blogging is the best solution for everyone who wants to earn extra money is a myth. Period.
People log onto the internet to seek information, old and new. They seek solutions to their problems and they seek information that they can trust in and value. Your blog site should be one that your readers should feel can be relied upon. Your content and the personality behind the blog (you) says everything. Believe it or not, readers can sense uncertainty and if you really have any clue of what you're talking about. They can tell if you actually believe in what you saying, and if the info being provided is correct. It will always read within the context of your content, not to mention the fact that any misinformation can easily be researched. This is why many blogs are much more successful than others.
As a blogger, it is important to understand that you must believe in the information and content you write about. It's even more important to love what you do and connect with your readers. This is what keeps your audience coming back to read more. This is what makes your blog successful. I don't want to name anybody outright, but there are a lot of blogs out there about entrepreneurship, working from home by blogging, writing about their favorite niche and etc. Some bloggers offer really good advice and some of it is even very well-written. But I think the danger is that some of these bloggers encourage people to go too far. You can always tell when a blogger is using a sales pitch type of approach, as most of them solicit information. Many unsuspecting readers looking for big pay day fall for the okie doke. The unfortunate thing that happens is that when they fail they have questions and want answers.
To imply that blogging is something that's easy to do, or totally doable for everybody is just simply untrue. The truth is, you need a specific type of personality, and you need to withstand a certain amount of risks. It's not one of those things that everyone should do - not even close.
The majority of the population is actually better off at sharing their expertise, work ethic and knowledge with the world through their chosen careers.

How to Create Niche Websites Using WordPress
If you specialize in a certain creative niche or expertise then why aren't you sharing it with the world? Your knowledge should never be unaccounted for, whether or not, you do it on the job or at home. There is a way to share your expertise or knowledge without the hassle, cost or time and that is through creating niche websites.
A niche is something that pertains to personal appeal. It could be a place, position or talent suitable just for oneself. What makes people interested in your niche all goes according to how it appeals to them. And the way to do that is by targeting that market and sharing your expertise (e.g. shopping, how to train your dog, food, clothes, pop culture) on whatever special niche pertains to you. This can be done with a website. Now I know that when you think of a website you're probably thinking to yourself, dear god I do not have time to do all of that, or I have no clue how to build a website. But I can show you step-by-step instructions on how this can be done using little to no cost to start-up and have your website built within one hour. The only thing that you will need to do is add the content(information) of your choice and share it. What's even better is that you can make money doing this. The great thing about this is that you will be making money doing something you love without feeling forced or pressured to keep up with anyone and it can be done in your spare time.
When people think about WordPress.org they think about a "blog" or blog site, but what it really is, is a Content Management System (CMS). It is a very simplistic way of creating websites without knowing anything about HTML or graphics. If you are knowledgeable and comfortable in HTML and would prefer to create your own website from scratch so to speak, then by all means - please feel free to do so. But in effort to save time and energy the majority of Content site owners/niche "bloggers" use WordPress as their platform. The end result is typically the same thing, but truth be told - with WordPress you save yourself 1/2 the time.
The first step is to brainstorm on your niche. These can be personal hobbies, things that you are interested in, things that you know others are interested in, health, pop culture etc.
The second step is purchasing a domain name. GoDaddy.com is the cheapest hands down. And there is always an online coupon to be found to give yourself a discount to make it even cheaper. Be sure when picking out your domain you add a keyword pertaining to your particular niche in the name. This will help not only with the appeal of your website but it will make it easier to be found in search engines.
The third step is to purchase your hosting. Hostgator.com is the best. It's not only affordable but also provides the WordPress platform to get you started. This includes themes, plug-ins, widgets and other start-up materials for newbies.
The success of your niche website isn't determined by its name or how fancy it looks - but how well you promote its demand, how popular your niche is and the content you write on it to keep it going.

Make Money Providing Services To Seniors
There are plenty of senior citizens out there who could use some help and are even willing to pay to get some simple chores done, answering the mail, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions and other duties around the house.
You can start a senior service business where you help them to do all of these thing.
Shopping
Many seniors do not have the mobility to get up and go out and shop for their groceries and other personal needs on a daily basis. Here's where you come in. You could charge a weekly or monthly fee to seniors to do their personal shopping for them. The fee charge should always depend upon the type of shopping that they may need done (i.e groceries and household products or clothing and toiletries) as well as the frequency - which is how many times per month they will need this done.
Just imagine how much money you could make if you did the personal shopping for at least five senior citizens in your area.
Personal Driving and Cleaning
You could earn cash by driving seniors to their doctor's office or other appointments. And just like with personal shopping the fee should always depend upon the frequency - which is how often they need it done.
You'd be surprise to find that some seniors are even willing to pay for you to be their companion. Just to share in a few laughs and conversations with them as they watch their favorite TV show. The earning possibilities are endless.
Advertise Your Service
Post notices around your local area to advertise your service. Call your local newspaper and ask them if they would consider putting your flier in every paper. You may have to pay a few bucks for this type of distribution, but you will be reaching senoris citizens as well as the sons and daughters of many seniors who could use a break for all the work they take on for their aging parents.
Providing services to senior citizens is not only a way to earn some extra cash for yourself, but it is also a very good way to assist a senior citizen in need. The help is always appreciated.
