Make Some Extra Cash For The Holidays

LeadCastingCall on Facebook

The holiday season is the busiest shopping time of the year. It's also the time of year when most people go broke. Now while you may not be able to spend much this time around due to the economy - there are ways you can earn extra cash on the side to buy the gifts that you currently have your eye on.

So if you want to make your wallet pop and bring in the new year with some extra dough - follow the tips below.

Earn Money With Your Hobbies

Do you like to sew, cook or make arts and crafts in your spare time? You can use these hobbies to make extra cash on the side. You could make pillow cases, embroider hats and shirts or even make quilts and sell them. You could also have a bake sale. You could even sell nuts and desserts. Brand your own holiday cookie or pie. You may not get rich doing this - but if you are very crafty with these hobbies you will definitely make extra cash guaranteed!

Sell Things on Ebay, Flea Markets or Craigslist

Look in your closets. Check your bookshelves. Walk out to the garage. See all that junk? How much of it do you actually still use? When was the last time you played Mario Kart or NBA Live 2004?

It doesn’t take much time and effort to sell your used stuff to generate some extra cash.

Make Money Online

Have you ever heard of websites like Cashcrate, Bluecashonline or Inboxdollars? If not, then now is the time to become more familiar with them. They are GPT sites. GPT stands for Get-Paid-To. These websites pay you to complete free offers and sign-ups. This is one of the fastest ways to make money online and there is no limit to how much you can earn daily. You can even earn more cash by referring friends and family to them. You can cash out at anytime and collect your cash!

Make Money Providing Services To Seniors

There are plenty of senior citizens out there who could use some help and are even willing to pay to get some simple chores done, answering the mail, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions and other duties around the house.

You can start a senior service business where you help them to do all of these thing.

Shopping

Many seniors do not have the mobility to get up and go out and shop for their groceries and other personal needs on a daily basis. Here's where you come in. You could charge a weekly or monthly fee to seniors to do their personal shopping for them. The fee charge should always depend upon the type of shopping that they may need done (i.e groceries and household products or clothing and toiletries) as well as the frequency - which is how many times per month they will need this done.

Just imagine how much money you could make if you did the personal shopping for at least five senior citizens in your area.

Personal Driving and Cleaning

You could earn cash by driving seniors to their doctor's office or other appointments. And just like with personal shopping the fee should always depend upon the frequency - which is how often they need it done.

You'd be surprise to find that some seniors are even willing to pay for you to be their companion. Just to share in a few laughs and conversations with them as they watch their favorite TV show. The earning possibilities are endless.

Advertise Your Service

Post notices around your local area to advertise your service. Call your local newspaper and ask them if they would consider putting your flier in every paper. You may have to pay a few bucks for this type of distribution, but you will be reaching senoris citizens as well as the sons and daughters of many seniors who could use a break for all the work they take on for their aging parents.

Providing services to senior citizens is not only a way to earn some extra cash for yourself, but it is also a very good way to assist a senior citizen in need. The help is always appreciated.

Top 5 Recession Proof Businesses

With economists continuing to revise their estimate of when the economy will recover, its time to review your future options to ensure you make it through the times of economic distress. I don't know many people who feel "secure" in their current job, and within the last year I have come to know many people who are looking to launch their own business. Take it from me - the best kind of business to start up is one that can be recession proof.

I have categorizerd quite a few recession proof businesses that require little start up costs. All that's necesary to make it succeed is your own will and drive.

1. Cosmetics

One of the industries considered recession proof businesses is cosmetics. Women continue to want to look beautiful despite any financial considerations and will continue to spend money on cosmetics. In the fourth quarter of 2008, Avon's net income rose 80%! This strength through a recession makes cosmetics an ideal business to pursue. You can be a cosmetic maker wherever you live regardless of your past experiences and educational background, which is the beauty of this business.

To find out how you can start your own cosmetic's line Click Here or if you decide that you want to jump on the gravy train of an already established company go to Avon.com or Arbonne.com and inquire about becoming an independent consultant for their company.

2. Moving Service

How many times have you or someone you know moved into an apartment or a house and couldn't find anyone to assist with with moving and clean-up? Many single parents and even just busy people in general don't have time to do this on their own.

Believe it or not moving service businesses are highly slept on and you can make decent money with a moving service. Your company can be the one to get everything ready for the folks before they move in and you can even help folks move to their new location. You could very well make $5000 per week with a moving service company.

There are a lot of people out there who would gladly pay someone to take care of the cleaning and shaping of their new digs. This service could also be marketed to people who buy new homes, moving into new apartments and even those who have lost their homes and need help cleaning out their foreclosures.

3. Information Technology (IT)

Despite the bursting of the information technology (IT) bubble that played a key role in the recession of the early 2000s, information technology is still the fastest growing sector in the United States economy. That's because the information technology sector isn't confined to so-called tech companies. Every mid-size to large company relies heavily on information technology to get business done.

If you specialize in this field. You could easily earn cash in hours, even days. You can put up flyers, hand out business cards in your area and even advertising your business on Craigslist or place in ad in the paper. You could fix computer systems, installation of anti-virus software, database administration and etc. And if you are good with designing websites that's even more cash flow into your pockets.

4. Resume Service

If you have a good computer and a laser printer, consider starting your own resume writing service. There are lots of unemployed (and employed) people who would like to have a nice looking resume to land them their new job. The thing is that most people don't know how to put together resumes believe it or not. And here is where you would come in. You could charge a bargain price of $25 up to several hundred dollars per resume. You will probably want to establish a pricing chart based on both the length and complexity of the resume.

5. Secretarial Service - Typing / Transcription / Proofreading

Many small businesses and individuals have a need for these services, but not enough need to hire a temp through an agency or even keep a fulltime employee. And at this point and time outsourcing seems to be the way to go. Assuming you've got a computer, a printer, and e-mail (and the necessary skills), you're all set. Some executives and doctors or attorneys just need someone to keep an account of their schedules, check their email and voicemail. The assignments can vary. Be prepared to charge by the job, not by the hour. Here are quite a few places where you can advertise your service and even place bids on services needed. You can go to Elance.com or VirtualAssistants.com and check it out.

Starting Your Own Cleaning/Janitorial Company

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about this over the past few weeks. Please let me be the first to say that starting a cleaning/janitorial business is very lucrative business. It is also one of the only recession-proof businesses out there.

Before you began your cleaning service company I think that it's very important to decide on which market you will be trying to target. There are only two - the commercial and consumer market. And you must also decide if it will be franchise or independently owned.

The difference between operating a independently owned company and a franchise is that with a franchise, there are certain guidelines to follow. There is always some pre-established formulas for concept, name, services offered can be limited, etc. Also there are fees that have to be paid regularly. Honestly speaking, the only thing that you really don't have to worry about with owning a franchise is the advertising. They really go out of their way to make your services known. This can be a plus as you wouldn't have to worry about marketing your business on your own.

Now when you start your own independent company you'll likely invest far less money and there is no limit to the types of service offered and you can do things your own way.

A residential home cleaning business is one of those rare businesses you can start with very little start-up costs. With just a bucket of cleaning supplies and some rags you have an instant business. No BS. I highly recommend becoming insured/bonded. Getting insured helps you to avoid unexpected costs out of your pcoket for things such as an employee getting hurt on the job, a client reporting something stolen and etc.

As for equipment, you don't need much more than vacuum, a broom, and a long handled duster. You'll find that many people prefer you use their vacuum (If you've ever seen the carpet at my Uncle Jim's house, then you know why). If your house cleaning service includes carpet or blind cleaning, this equipment can be rented to save on costs.

HOW MUCH CAN YOU MAKE?

Depending on the going rates in your area, you can expect to average anywhere from $10 to $25 per hour. You can clean small retail and office operations and charge an additional $5 to $15 per hour.

For bigger profits you may want to specialize in certain areas. For instance, you could clean rental homes, foreclosures and apartments after tenants move out.

You can also do crime scene clean up which is highly slept on.

How Do I Advertise?

*Classified ads work exceptionally well. Advertise in your local newspaper or weekly shopper. Run test ads in various newspapers in your area and advertise frequently in the one that gives you the best results. Look at the ads currently running and make your ad stand out from the crowd. Offer an additional benefit such as a 20% discount on the first cleaning to entice potential customers.

*Distribute half-page or full-page flyers to homes and businesses. In one afternoon you can canvas a neighborhood with several hundred flyers. This method will capture the customer that is not actively seeking cleaning services, but is nevertheless frustrated with cleaning chores. You can produce an attractive flyer right from home with your computer and color printer.

*Print some business cards. This can also be done on your computer. Leave a card with everyone you meet and everywhere you go. Hand it to grocery store clerk, give it to the mail carrier, leave one at the restaurant...

*Get listed in the yellow pages.

*Advertise on the radio. You may be surprised how affordable this can be. Granted, the best rates are likely later time slots, but guess who's listening? That's right... the workaholic that doesn't have time to keep house.

In conclusion, starting your own cleaning business is a great way to earn a solid income and still have control over your schedule. You decide for yourself how much you want to work and how much you want to make. The demand for your services is very high, and you can grow your business as large as you want and still be home based.

And most importantly, you'll have the satisfaction that comes from creating a lifestyle of your choosing.

Freebie Trading Tips

Free Money at FusionCash!

I've been getting a lot of emails within the past month asking many questions about Freebie Trading and pros and cons of what do to do. So what I have done is put together a list of tips that I thought could help. These are strategies and secrets that have worked successfully for me.

Trust me when I say, you are not going to see such tips posted anywhere else on the internet. I don't care how many tutorials there are and who claims to be the expert. As I said before, I like to cut to the chase - no nonsense, long-winded useless chatter or beating around the bush.

Please feel free to send an email at anytime if you have anymore questions.

DO

Set your dollar limit of what you are willing to spend to complete offers.

I personally think that $10 is reasonable. However, if you decide to go lower ir higher, then that is perfectly fine as well. No matter what amount you decide on, be sure to keep your dollar limit in mind when seeking out offers to complete. This helps you to narrow down your choices.

CLEAR YOUR COOKIES! This is the most common mistake that people tend to overlook. Clearing your cookies is most important. It helps to avoid delay with appropriate credits/money.

The Free Credit Report offers are the absolutely fastest to credit. Always go for them! You can cancel at anytime later.

Most offers that emphasize a 30-day free trial tend to credit very quickly. All you have to do is sign up with a valid CC and you should go green. Remember you can always cancel your trials at anytime.

Please be sure to write down any and all necessary information from your trial offers. If you have to make a spreadsheet or set a reminder for yourself then so be it. It helps a great deal. Make sure to write down your trial beginning and end dates, customer service number to call and etc. Also be sure to save each and every single confirmation email that is sent to you. This all comes in handy when keeping track of your completed trial offers so that you don't accrue any unwanted charges.

Netflix and Blockbuster both credit almost instantly. The cost of sign-up is usually around $9.99. It's a trial offer that can be cancelled at anytime. But it's recommended that you wait at least 21 days before cancelling. It's possible that if you cancel too early, the trading site will revoke your applied credit.

VistaPrint, SmartDiets, Gevalia and Stamps.com are also three very good offers that credit very fast.

The Disney, Dr. Suess and DoubleDay Book Club offers are also very good offers that credit very quickly. The S&H charge is usually no more than about $10 but if it costs a little bit more than you can afford, then I suggest that you use your own discretion.

DON'T

Do not spend money that you cannot afford to lose completing offers. Spending large amounts of cash isn't necessary to go green. There are very affordable offers and even some free offers already there to take advantage of. Just take your time and look for them.

Do not complete offers that ask you to download screensavers, music, movies and etc. These offers are very slow to credit, and more often than not, you will have to open a support ticket and cut and paste your confirmation email proof you completed this site. This can take up to 7 days and sometimes longer. Sometimes they don't credit at all.

Stay away from those Discover Card offers or any other kind of credit card "apply for me" offers. You are signing up for a credit card and the freebie site will only award you the offer credit "if" you are approved for the card. If you are unapproved, you don't get credit. When it boils down to it. This offer isn't at all worth completing.

Do not complete any of the weight loss supplement offers. i.e MaxxiTrim, Hoodia, AcaiBerry and etc. These are not legitimate companies. They are privately owned distributors advertising and scamming the hell out of people. There is no reliable customer service number or support team information. And the way I hear, they will charge your card over and over again repeatedly, without sending you the product. Stay away!

Do not under any circumstances complete anything that remotely looks like it is a Payday Loan offer. These offers operate with the same strategy as the Discover card offers. You only recieve credit when you are approved for the loan and with most Payday loan offers you must take out the loan before you receive credit. This is a HELL NO! offer as taking out a Payday loan will require you to pay a finance charge along with the requested funds.

Stay away!

Other Helpful Tips

It is not necessary for you complete offers on every single freebie trading website you visit. To be honest, it's best to have at least 3-4 freebie trading sites under your belt. After you are done going green with those. STOP! At this point your next move should be working towards getting referrals. The money is in the referrals.

You do not need websites like Freelunchroom to find referrals. You can get them anywhere. Messageboard forums sites, craigslist, friends, family co-workers, anywhere!

The best way to get referrals is to offer some kind of incentive. You can offer to pay your referrals or you can swap with other freebie traders.

Swapping is when you offer to go GREEN by becoming their referral, as they agree to go GREEN by becoming your referral. A win-win for the both of you as you both get to cash out on your site.

After you have began completing offers do not panic if they do not credit instantly. This doesn't mean that you have been scammed. Some offers can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 7 days to credit. If it takes any longer than that, simply open up a support ticket and allow the site customer service to look into the matter. Once again, be sure to have your confirmation emails handy as they sometimes ask for proof of offer completition.

You = money to these freebie site owners and they hate to get bad reputations. Their customer service is very cooperative and they work with you to get you your money.

If you stick to these you should have no problem making money in this industry. It is waaaay to easy to make money in the freebie industry. Too easy. And if you work it to your benefit it can prove to be very lucrative.

Good luck to all.

Cheers and Happy Earnings!
