Earn Money With Your Unused Domain Names

Domaining is the business of buying, selling, developing and monetizing Internet domain names not for primary use as a website, but with the goal of profit generation with the intent of resale, like real estate. Inh fact, for the last ten years, domaining has been referred to as the real restate of the world wide web. It is business of buying and selling domain names for money.

The domaining often occupies building up of the domain name portfolios, or else accumulation of the domain names, in accordance to various criterias. This domain name portfolios frequently consist of profitable generic dictionary word domain names, or domains whose registrations have lapse but they still retain practical traffic. 1) You'll need to finalize on the domain name you want to invest in. Buying a domain name depends on various factors like: What is your budget, Which market you are targeting and who is the potential customer? You should answer these questions before buying a domain name. Domainers are always looking for domains that have traffic or a decent niche that can draw in potential high traffic. Ex: Movies333.com or newringtones.com

2) If you do not have any unused domains names already. Buy a Domain name. Come up with a SHORT but easy to remember combo of words or word and numbers. I highly recommend Godaddy.com as they have very cheap web hosting.

3)After your domain is registered. You may begin to add your own content to it. If you are still in brainstorm mode in finding a decent niche. Then I highly suggest for you to park your site on Sedo.com - so that in the meantime while you brainstom, you can get paid for straggler traffic.

4) While your site is parked. Do whatever you can to market it to death! Put it in your email signature line, your myspace page, facebook, twitter, friendster, personal profile pics with the domain, ANYTHING! This is a form of SEO and it's one way that you can draw in decent traffic.

5) Hang on to the domain. Watch your traffic at sedo or wherever you have it parked. Once you get enough traffic you can put it up for auction sale at Sedo and other sites Ebay.

6) Repeat steps 1 thru 5.

If you decide not to add content to your website then that's okay too. There is no no need to know how to build websites. The key is to have your domain associated with whatever you do online. The more you use the net, the more your domain gets out there. Make it a habit!

This doesn't take that much effort. You do not need to be a skilled web designer or internet geek to do this. Just make it a habit. Find a niche and stick with it. You will find that it is much like real estate. The price only goes up with time and increased exposure.
